Our house has been surrounded by germs for what feels like an eternity now. Daniel has been sick for the last week and Abby has been off and on sick since December. Well....This weekend took a turn for the worst. Both of my babies (Daniel and Abby) seemed to be on the mend. Daniel and I went to his awards dinner for the Silverton Fire Dept. And Abby went to Grandma and Grandpa Brown's house. Both of them were feeling so much better. That night Abby was up all night complaining about her ear! I just knew we were dealing with an ear infection. I literally got 2 hours sleep (if that) Saturday night. I called and got her into urgent care Sunday. After the PA pulled out a huge wad of ear wax from both ears she was able to tell us, Abby had a double ear infection.
Monday morning rolls around. Daniel wakes up feeling so much better. He heads to work all is fine. I get a call at around 4pm. He has been admitted into the ER! I guess as he was bringing in a patient some nurses saw him and chased him down. He looked pale and pasty. They admitted him and ran a blood test and did a chest X-ray. Thank goodness everything came out fine. He just has a virus that has not let go of him. He is off work again this week. I am just praying both of them get better and I don't get it. Both are on antibiotics so we will see what next weekend holds for us!
