What Oregonian's do in 60 degree weather!

The last two weekends have been absolutely gorgeous! I am so glad I don't work on the weekends. We took advantage of these sunny days by spending a lot of time outside. I think Abby could live outside. She can't get enough. We took Bailey for a "bath" at the Silverton Reservoir. Bailey would swim and be in the water all day if we let her. I think she is half fish.
Abby exploring the first sign of flowers.

Bailey jumping for her toy.

My little sun princess. She loves her sun glasses. These are from when she was little, I need to get her a bigger pair.

Playing outside with the dog. She got really muddy.

Filling up the pool for Bailey. I did not intend for Abby to get wet too, but of course she could not resist the water. She didn't get in the water, just played in it.

Like I said, Bailey loves to swim. She flops around like a sea lion in the kiddie pool.
We are also potty training! This is a hard job, a lot harder than I thought. She was doing a really good job for that last couple of weeks, but this weekend she has not been interested in it. I have resorted to a m&m every time she pees in the toilet.
Last week I put her on her potty chair, and went to let the dog out. While I was waiting for Bailey to come back in, I could hear Abby grunting. Then she comes running out yelling " I poop, I poop!" I was so surprised and excited. Then she turned around and this huge poop was stuck in between her butt cheeks. It was the funniest thing I have ever seen!
Wish me luck! If you have any great ideas, I welcome them.

Abby came walking out with her hat on, a monkey purse around her wrist, and her baby in the grocery cart. She was the perfect little momma.
A hard day after daycare.

Playing dress up with her cousin Ashlynn. Ashlynn is wearing the flower girl dress I wore in my Aunt Eloise's wedding. I was 5 years old. I think I shared a picture of Abby wearing it too.

Playing with play-doh

Smiling for Valentines day. She is so pretty!

The End of 2009....Part 2

Christmas was a lot of fun. As you know from the previous post we put Abby in to her toddler bed Christmas Eve...Again, BIG mistake. She was up and ready at 4:30 am.....yes, AM! When she got up she did not realize Santa came, so we were able to lay in bed for a few more minutes. Then she wanted to eat. She went in to the living room and I could her a gasp from her when she saw the tree. She came running in so excited!

She ripped into those presents with gusto! She would run, get a gift, come back to the coffee table, open it, squeal, run back and get another. She had a blast!

Next we went to Grandma and Grandpa Brown's. Uncle Matthew, Lauren, Auntie Katie and Uncle Kyle were there too.

We all had so much fun watching her open gifts. She got a really cool little set of baby stuff (play pen, stroller and high chair....she loves them all) from her Auntie Katie and Uncle Kyle. She also received a wonderful doll house from her Grandparents, and OSU stuff from her Uncle Matthew and Auntie Lolen (that's what Abby calls Lauren).

After that, we went to my parents house. My Aunt Eloise, Uncle Bryan and cousin Lauren surprised my mom on Christmas Eve. We all knew about it and had to keep our mouths shut. It was so hard, but so much fun to see my mom squirm. She thought they were coming, but she didn't.....its a long story. It was so much fun to show Abby off to them. The last time they saw her she was a week old. She has changed a little......

Eloise and Abby cuddling. Abby started calling Eloise Snow White. Just out of the blue, that's who she was.

Not the greatest picture of me, but Abby and Eloise look great!

My adorable cousin Lauren. She taught me how to crochet over Christmas. My new HOBBY! I am so addicted.

To be a kid again, buried in presents with the magic of Christmas all around you. This was by far the best Christmas in a very long time!
