When Abby was little I bought her a small childs table to eat snacks on and color. Well, that adorable little table has become my worst enemy. Ruby has decided that chairs are great ladders to get into ANYTHING she wants! She will drag those darn things around the house to: turn light switches on and off, get into drawers, reach things on the counter, and worse of all she can get to the stove top.
Last night was pretty funny though. Daniel got a glass of water from the water thing on the fridge. She wanted some, so he let her drink a bit out of his glass. Well that wasn't good enough. She wanted her very own glass. Being the kind and caring father he is, he gave her a sippy cup of water. The sippy cup was not what she wanted. Ruby wanted her very own big girl cup. She threw a fit and leaned against the counter and cried. I got up laughing, got a cup and put a tiny bit of water in the cup. She was very happy! I went to sit back down on the couch, and Daniel was at the computer. All of a sudden we heard the water from the fridge. That little turd watched us and figured out how to fill her own cup, using her chair to reach of course!!! She catches on way too fast! The chairs have got to go.

Thanksgiving 2012
Thanksgiving is such a wonderful time of year. It really does make one stop and think about all of the wonderful blessings. Thanksgiving is also a time of year when we are going from place to place and stuffing our faces. Both of which we love!
We woke up early to start our baking. I made sweet potatoes, crust for Daniel's famous apple pie, and homemade rolls. We were busy. Here the girls are helping daddy peel apples. Ruby enjoyed the apple pieces that fell onto the counter. Gotta love that sexy camo shirt too!
So after all the craziness in the kitchen we all got dressed up for the holiday. All I wanted was a cute picture of my precious beautiful girls. Here are some out takes. I love the faces Abby makes, they crack me up!
The classic both girls eyes are closed pic!
Ruby was so tired! She snuggled with Uncle Ryan.
Abby has been a challenge lately. I am not sure if it's becoming a year older, trying to see how far she can get with us, being a girl, or all of the above. I love her so much, and little moments like this one makes me so thankful she is my little girl.
In the car:
Abby: I can't wait to be a mommy!
Me: Why are you so excited to be a mommy?
Abby: Because I want to be just like you. You do so many wonderful things for me
Ruby gets into everything! She has learned to push her little chairs around the house to reach what she wants. She likes to push a chair up to the light switches and turn the lights on and off. She also opens all the kitchen drawers and pulls stuff out. The scary times are when I am cooking on the stove and she wants to stand on a chair and "help" mom. She doesn't like it when I move it.
Daniel and I are so lucky to have 2 wonderful babies!

I finally got this one. This was the best they would both give me. It was a challenge, but I love this one!
Family picture at the Brown's. Can you tell Ruby just woke up from our car ride.

My girls are the most precious thing to me. I am so proud of how much they love each other, and how well they get along.
Both of them are so compassionate and loving to others. I captured this moment and want to cherish it forever.....especially when their teenagers fighting! he he he

October!
Our October flew by! Ruby Mae turned 15 months this month too! After her well baby check we decided to grab the chance to hit the patch before it was too late, and it rained.
Both girls loved the animals. We couldn't get them away.
Ruby loves pumpkins. She grabbed this one and patted it like a baby and loved it. It was pretty funny. As usual, Abby wanted tiny pumpkins, so we just went to the little market at the patch and she was thrilled!
Our wonderful Uncle Kyle furnished the gigantic carving pumpkins. Boy can he grow'em! Ruby was in pumpkin heaven patting them, touching, and jumping on the tarp. Then the carving started and the pumpkin guts came out. She hated it! She didn't want anything to do with that slimy, stinky stuff. So she hung out on the couch or by her table.
Abby on the other hand loved every second!
It's tradition all the kids climb in and get a picture. I can't wait until their 16 and standing in one!
As you can see Ruby didn't like standing in it. Poor thing, maybe next year?
The Big Day! Happy Halloween 2013! Ashlynn was a witch.
Have you seen cuter Minnie's? I don't think so!
Ruby loved hanging out with the big kids and going from house to house. She didn't really care about getting candy....she just liked the freedom! Caught Abby in a happy candy leap.
Colin was Buzz! and there is little Miss Chloe....the tiny Minnie.
After trick or treating Abby was perched on the stool by the door handing out candy. She never moved. Just sat waiting and loved giving the candy out.
Miss Ruby...

And of course there is beautiful Chloe. She was a trooper the whole time.
So proud of their pumpkins. Abby designed the pumpkin on the left. The Big Day! Happy Halloween 2013! Ashlynn was a witch.
