I love watching Abby swing.  It brings me back to the time I was little and swinging on my swing set.  She sings, and talks to herself.  My favorite is when I see her eyes closed, and face tilted up....now that's swinging!

First Sport!

Abby's first T-Ball game was April 23, 2012.  It was so much fun to watch.  Daniel is coaching along with our good friends Ian and Jodi Peterson.  Her first game was on a beautiful 80 degree day.  Both sets of grandparents were there, and she was in heaven!

Abby is number 4 and her BFF is Gabby, number 5.  They are 2 out of the 3 girls on the team.
This is when she wasn't playing in the dirt.  It's hard work looking cute and playing ball.
At first base with dad.  When she hit the ball she kept running to the pitchers mound.  Once she got on to first base we were good.  The helmet is pretty heavy.  She kept coming back to first base to ask dad if she could take it off!  It was pretty funny.
 Drawing pictures!
 Swing batter!!
Meanwhile, we have miss Ruby Mae.  She is Abby's biggest fan.  She is also 9 months old this month!
Here are her stats:
weight- 17 lbs (25%)
length- 26 3/4 (30%)
head- 44cm (55%)
Poor kid no wonder she keeps falling on her head.  She is starting to stand for a few seconds on he own, and doing a bit of cruising!
She still wakes up at least one time between 3 and 4AM.  I have given in and given her a bit of bottle at this time.  I just want to sleep!  This kid owes me BIG time!

Three Cheers for a Sunny Day!

The last couple of days have been so gorgeous!  Abby has been outside all day and Ruby loves being able to bask in the sun as well.  She loves swinging with her big sis.

 Belly laughs!
I put her on the grass for the first time and she really wasn't that impressed with it.  She didn't move and kept her left foot up in the air the whole time.  I was laughing so hard I had tears rolling down.  No matter when or where you put her in the grass, it's always her left foot!
I love these silly pictures of Abby.  She is so pretty!

Thank you Lord for sun, and my precious babies!

Easter 2012

It all starts with coloring Easter Eggs.  Abby was so excited!  She was very methodical about the whole thing.  She is just like her mom and dad!  First born syndrome!

When she was done coloring them she was so proud.  She stared at all the eggs in the carton for forever!
Easter bounty!  The girls each got a ton of books a few playthings, and a bubble machine to share.
Daniel had to work this Easter.  He was bummed because he thought he would miss the girls see their baskets.  However, as he was hiding the eggs, both girls woke up.  He almost got caught by Abby.  Ruby was just as excited to see her basket as Abby was.

Then off to Grandma and Grandpa Browns for our annual Easter pictures.  Then off to church.

We all couldn't believe our luck.  All three of them sitting together for a great picture!  Colin looks so handsome.
After church we headed to Grandma-ma and Papa Lee's house.  Can you believe this picture?  Lauren texting or something and Abby playing Angry Birds!
Three little matching monkeys!  These three were hard to capture.  If one looked great for the picture then the other two were goofing off or not looking.  GIRLS!  What are we going to do with them?!

 Easter Egg Hunt #1

Then back to the Brown's for Easter Egg Hunt #2.  Abby loved finding the eggs.  She could have done this all day!  I am so glad she was able to do it at both houses!  Ruby enjoyed it too!

For as young as he is (just turned 2) Colin got the idea really quick.  He was good too!
 Look at all those eggs!
Daniel got to join us for Easter/Birthday at his parents house.  This year Becky's birthday landed on Easter.
Opening presents!  Happy Birthday!  We love you!
And we end with the annual family picture.  Silly Uncle Matthew!

Spring Break

So Spring Break didn't turn out the way I had planned.  I had a list of fun activities for the family to do, but I got sick and the weather was horrible.  However, we did enjoy our cousin Andrea's wedding and a day at the park.
Monday was the only nice day.  So I loaded up the girls and headed to Riverfront Park in Salem.  It was really windy, but both girls did great. We met up with my brother, Kyla and Ashlynn.

Ruby didn't really care for the slide.  Auntie Kyla was such a great aunt.  She tried a few times to make this teether happy.
 Having fun on the carousel.

A few days ago I threw both girls in the bath together.  They loved it and splashed the entire time.

Then of course after the bath I just gave her, daddy gives her, her first ice cream.  She loved it!  She cried a few times because it was so cold, but wouldn't let go of it for the world.
Even though it wasn't what I had planned, I loved being with my girls and playing "stay at home mom" for a while.  Now the count down begins for summer!
