I can now say that both of my girls have officially scared the crap out of me! When Abby was three she hid in a store and I thought I lost her forever. I think I already blogged about that. Well, about a month ago Ruby Mae was hit by a car. Our neighborhood is small, we are all friends, all of our kids play together in the street because we live on a dead end and no cars ever come down the road. The night Ruby got hit, we where all out. Our neighbors to the right were parked in front of our house getting ready to leave. My neighbor across the street and I were about to go on a walk. All the kids were out on bikes playing. My neighbor and I turned to start walking. All of a sudden I heard lots of yelling and kids screaming "stop!" I turned and saw Daniel running towards our friends truck that was parked in front of our house. It was all in slow motion! I looked and saw Rubys pink Minnie 4 wheeler under the truck and ruby screaming under the truck! She was close to a tire but Priase The Lord was not ran over. She suffered some major road rash but all and all was ok. I did take her to the doctor the next day and she confirmed she was ok. Daniel checked her over, and made sure she was ok too. I would NEVER wish the sight of your child under a car on my worse enemy. I cried a lot that night. I even had to sleep in her room that night and took the next day off work. In fact it took a long time to get that image out of my mind and not go into an anxiety attack when I thought about. That little girl is a bruiser! She literally keeps us on your toes. We love her so much and we are so thankful she is ok.
